What About That Absentee Vote?Matthew 13:15
“For the hearts of these people are hardened, and their ears cannot hear, and they have closed their eyes—so their eyes cannot see, and their ears cannot hear, and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to me and let me heal them.”

The verse for today’s devotional is the same as last week's! Why is that? Because we want to explore what I call the “Absentee Vote”.
The absentee voters are those people who don’t care to vote for Jesus, His salvation, church, Lord, and heaven; and hell, too, for that matter.
These are people running amok in society, but it also includes successful people (nice, good, societal) who don’t care to know Jesus.
The absentee vote concerning Jesus will get anyone into hell. Why? Because an absentee vote is the same as a “No” vote!
The point then? Don’t stand on the sidelines. Vote for Jesus! Here’s Matthew 12:30, “Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me.”
